About My Blog
I chose to do my blog on dogs but more specifically about rescue dogs due to the fact that I believe a lot of people are very unaware about the state some dogs are in. My blog is called "B&C" because of my dogs Buster and Charlie, they are my main inspirations and a hige part of my life! My audience is anyone who loves dogs or owns one. I also find it very interesting the way dogs interact and learn as they grow up an are put in different situations. My main motivation for choosing this topic are my two dogs, Buster and Charlie. My dogs are so important to me and I have no idea what I would do without them. Buster is a 10 year old white Labrador who I have grown up with since I was 10, he is known by all my friends as one of the biggest (not fat) Labradors they have seen. And then this past summer my family adopted Charlie, a 4 month old black boxer/ lab mix. Charlie is one of my biggest inspirations for this blog because we rescued him, when he was 1 month old he was going to be euthanized in Idaho due to Idaho having a shelter overcrowding problem. Charlie was then adopted by a family who then gave him up for being "aggressive" (a one month old puppy...). My family fortunately found him on a website for dogs on death row and was able to give him a home. However there are still so many dogs on death row that deserve homes, it makes me sick to my stomach the cruelty that some dogs are put through. A huge purpose of my blog is to raise awareness about rescue pets and how many there are out there who need to be saved.
